Abstract

Environmental sanitation in the working area of the Bahodopi Community Health Center faces serious challenges due to rapid industrial development and high population mobility. This situation has led to an increase in sanitation problems such as limited access to clean water, waste disposal, and liquid waste management. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence community sanitation behavior and formulate community-based management strategies. The research method used is a quantitative approach through a survey of 98 heads of families selected using the Proportional Stratified Sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between variables and SWOT analysis to formulate environmental sanitation strategies. The results showed that attitude was the most influential factor on environmental sanitation behavior, while environmental knowledge, sanitation knowledge, and income did not have a significant direct influence. However, knowledge still played an important indirect role through attitude formation. The SWOT analysis shows that the Bahodopi region has strong internal capacity and great external opportunities, so the recommended strategies are a diversification strategy for wastewater management and an aggressive strategy for waste and drainage issues
